GPRS: Stands for General Packet Radio Service and is an ‘always on’, high-speed data service that rides alongside your network provider’s existing GSM network. The only charges you incur are for the quantity of data you download (in Mbytes), regardless of how long you’re online, because you’re not really using the phone network itself. WAP: Stands for Wireless Application Protocol and means access to the internet from your mobile phone.
