What are ECTS credits?
ECTS credits are a new way to express students’ workloads in each subject or activity. Under the system that has been used in Spain to date, a credit has corresponded to ten hours of class time, irrespective of how many hours of study or work outside of class were required. By contrast, the new system is intended to take into account and recognize all the work done by students.
