WHAT ARE CLIFFNOTES?
I am sure most people know about and/or have used Cliffnotes at some point in their lives. When I used them in High School and College it was to get as much information about a book as quickly as possible. I usually needed to know about the Author, understand the plot, be able to connect characters, etc. and Cliffnotes gave me all that and more! They took a complex piece of literature and broke it down into easy to understand pieces. Even when reading the work, they helped in making things clear — think of a Readers Digest type summary covering every chapter and character. When you have multiple classes and activities going on at once, they can be a remarkable aid! What is really great is that now, Cliffnotes offers a wide variety of other books along with all of their literature ones. They now offer Course Guides (Math, Spanish, Chemistry etc) along with Study Savers which contain review and practice problems.
