Each class has it’s own ambiance but all beginner classes are taught to beginner’s level, with movements and combinations thoroughly broken down and explained. Each class begins with rhythmic movement rehearsal and dance conditioning technique to prepare the body for the specific movements intended in the later part of the class. Specific belly dance movement vocabulary are thoroughly broken down and introduced to students, then fused together into combinations and choreographies. Some time in each class is also spent on learning to dance with the veil and in learning how to play the finger cymbals. Sabrina weaves into her class information on performance, culture, and etiquette pertaining to belly dancing. Expect to be dancing the entire time, get a good workout, and learn something new in each and every class. Sabrina makes all her classes fun, interesting, and rewarding.

MPC classes focus on a variety of communication disciplines. Some classes concentrate primarily on writing, while others focus on design or communication theory. Class work and discussion include hands-on participation, guest lectures, and some group projects. Students are encouraged to participate actively in discussions, suggest changes to the curriculum, and use projects from their employers for various assignments. Our classes are small, so you receive individual attention and can take advantage of professional networking with other students. A typical class includes 15 or fewer students. Three-credit courses meet once or twice a week; one-credit courses usually meet on Saturday mornings for one month.
