What are all the type of accounts, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) can open?
• NRE Accounts may be maintained in the form of Savings Bank, Recurring Deposit or Fixed Deposit accounts. • FCNR(B) Accounts may be opened only in the form of Term Deposits for the maturity periods from 1 year to 5 years. • NRO Accounts may be maintained in the form of Current, Savings, Recurring or Fixed deposit accounts.
