Was Mary Queen of Scots a coward?
NO! Mary Queen of Scots,also known as Mary Stewart and Marie Stuart,was not a coward.She was the daughter of James V of Scotland and Mary de Guise of France.She had many half-brothers and sisters,among which was Lord James Stewart,who was later the protector of her son,James VI.Her father died when she was six days old,making her Queen.When she was still young but able to understand she was took to France for safety.She was later to become the Queen of France as well because she was to marry Francis I,also known as the Dauphin because he was the eldest child of the King and Queen of France.But why you are asking if she was a coward is because she feld to England?Well she,naturally feld to the aid of her sister soveregin,Elizabeth I of England expecting help but insted she got house arrest for 19 years then she was executed.She was executed because ELIZABETH thought that she was going to try and steal her crown.So really Elizabeth was the coward.Oh and Elizabeth I never made the speech
