A132) Please have your provider notify KHS. The provider will need to support the need for a quick decision by assuring KHS that health is at risk by following the normal timelines. Member should contact KHS at 1-866-547-0222 to ask for an expedited review of their grievance. A letter from Provider will also need to be faxed to KHS with the above information. Fax to (785) 234-2410. If provider supportsthe need for the expedited review, KHS will review the grievance within 3 days. KHS staff of 3 or more people will be the reviewers. No one that is involved with your grievance participates in the review and the KHS doctor makes all final decisions. KHS will inform the member within three days of that decision.
