Top 19. Who owns Narada?
Narada and its affiliated companies were purchased by EMI/Virgin Records America in 1997. Since then, Narada has continued to expand its musical offerings, becoming the principal US licensee for Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records. We have also developed our affiliated label, Back Porch (roots rock, alt country, Americana, singer-songwriters). In 2005, we became a part of The Blue Note Label Group, continuting to specialize in world, roots rock, Americana, and contemporary jazz.
