The performance of the software seems to be getting slower with large numbers of stored patients, why?

The performance of the software is essentially unchanged for small to large sized databases with 50-500 patients. For larger databases of thousands of patients there is a notable delay in speed due to the larger database size when constructing new notes. It is suggested 1) backup your current large database, 2) delete all patients in a specific site, or from a specific date range, such as last year or two; 3) backup this new smaller data set and label it by the sites or dates that remain. 4) restore the complete back-up file and repeat for a different site for date range. By doing this you can separate the single large database into several smaller databases that are specific to a site or date range. When needed the user can restore and use the specific database for faster performance, and not lose any data. The custom backup and restore feature is new to 3.2 and will be extended in the next release as a singel click “swap” function to accommodate larger databases. I can’t register onl
