SMTP and POP3 are different Email-related protocols. Users need to make sure the protocols used by their email system before go ahead to configure SUA server in Menu 15 of Prestige 480. If the users’ email system supports POP3, then they need to configure in Menu 15, the Port number 110 be routed to the IP address “x.x.x.x” of their Email server. If the email system supports SMTP, then users need to configure Port number 25 being routed to the IP address “x.x.x.x” of the email server.
