i would make the switch because if they are not giving you medication then they could be putting your life into danger, it isnt that much trouble to switch doctors because when i went to uni i moved across the country and needed a new one, do it!

You definitely have the choice to change doctors. Please don’t hesitate to contact your regular doctor and explain to the doctor what is going on. You are not comfortable with this specialist, you don’t understand him, and you need another specialist. When you go to the new one, please explain what happened to the last one, if he asks. And if you have a nurse take blood and try to stab you again the 2nd time and can’t find a vein, tell the nurse to STOP NOW and get another nurse. You are not a pin cushion. A nurse did one try for my son he was just so scared anyway. When she tried again the second time, I said STOP AND GET ANOTHER NURSE. She was upset but I don’t care, you can’t jab my child. Anyway the second nurse was great, he felt NO PAIN, he didn’t even cry. Sometimes you have to speak up. They are human. And they make mistakes.
