If they were that good and were serious about their footy the could go to the VFL, WAFL etc from there, if they are any good there’s every chance of going on to the rookie list. Several successful players have come off the rookie list (Matthew Boyd, Dale Morris are just a few from the Dogs.) Alot of the time though, players can dominate local leagues against average Joe and when it comes to a bigger league (VFL) they fail. Same with Pods, great VFL player, has been for several years, tried for many AFL club rookie spots and has been turned down everytime.
