security_patch_check says I need to use the -r or -c options to specify a catalog. What do I do?

Rerun security_patch_check (SPC) using either the -r option (security_patch_check -r) or the -c option (security_patch_check -c ). SPC must have local access to a security patch catalog to run its analysis, so the -r and -c options exist to help you gain access to a catalog. ‘security_patch_check -r’ can be used to automatically download a security patch catalog (remember to set the ftp_proxy environment variable appropriately), or you can manually download a catalog (see answer 4 in the Patch Catalog section) then point to it using ‘security_patch_check -c’.
