Section 1 – What is an E-mail List and How Do I Join?
—————————————————– An E-mail list is an address which will accept then redirect anything sent to it. The redirected mail is automatically sent to all members of a list of people (i.e. the members of Virtual ‘Vairs). The Corvair list is a free service, provided you already have E-mail access, and the people who “run” it in various capacities, do so on a volunteer basis. To be added to the list, send mail to: corvair-request@cyclone.mitre.org The list administration is now (mostly) automatic. Include in your note as the first line in the body: subscribe corvair your_first_name your_last_name To unsubscribe, send this as the first line: unsubscribe corvair You can put other things in the message as well, after the first line, such as what cars you own, your snail-mail address, Corsa chapter, etc. We are an official Corsa chapter, #007, and use this information ONLY for Corsa business. You’ll then receive a confirmation e-mail. Click the link in the e-mail and select the “Subscribe” button to be subscribed to the list.
