that’s like asking if there’s a sink full of water and you put two sponges in it and your like why didn’t the sponges soke up all the water well there’s only two in there they only soak up a tiny bit of the water there not enough of them to soak up all that water in the ocean….

Just like the sponge in your kitchen sink, they have a limit tp the amount of liquid ( Water in this case) they can hold. As do the ones in the ocean. There is just not enough sponges int he ocean to dry it up!
