Lingual braces have both advantages and disadvantages. They are put on the back of your teeth so you can’t see them, but not all dentists can provide them. They require special training and with that special training comes a higher cost. They also need to be custom fitted to your teeth which will also put the cost up more. Finding an exact cost will be practically impossible until you find the orthodontist you want to use. Since they are on the inside of your teeth they may affect your tongue, unlike other braces that affect the lips and cheeks. Some people may also have their speech affected with the lingual braces.
