Our group is trying to establish the differences/expectations of MS 1a and 1b. Primarily, what is the difference between the System Request form and a “description of the solution?” .
Response: System Request Form is a form similar to that shown in the book. A description of the solution is a written description of the problem, the context in which the system is being investigated (e.g., the organization), the anticipated solution, etc. As I said in class, this should be a case description similar to those that are in the book related to CD Selections.
