Your chances are excellent. The University of Reading is fantastically well-placed for the IT industry, being based in the UK’s equivalent to ‘Silicon Valley’. Oracle, Intel and Cisco and many smaller high tech companies are based within the region, and the School of Systems Engineering enjoys close working relationships with a variety of industrial and commercial concerns.
