On a scale of 1-10 how much does getting braces hurt?
It will be worth it! I had them for three years and I am grateful I did because the transformation is huge! 1. Only a few days after each check up.First time, maybe 3-4 days but after that it last for at the most 2 days after a check up! 2. If you don’t want bright colors, clear is not the way to go. It looks like plaque. Go with silver because it blends in with your braces! 3. Anywhere between 20-40 minutes. Not soo bad. After that each appointment is about 15 minutes long. 4. About 4 months, if your mouth gaps big enough! Hope this helps and you’ll love the end results!
I had braces for a while. It did not hurt that much to put them on…maybe a 6 after a few hours of having them on but the glue tastes TERRIBLE. For some people it hurts more so it depends on the mouth I guess. It is kinda painful to eat for a week or two and hard to talk for a while. I could not get a color so pick your favorite or something that you think is versatile. For me it took like 45 minutes to put them on but it could be longer if you have to wait for the dentist. I had to wear a retainer for a couple years after the 1st treatment, and then if you get a second treatment then afterwards you have to wear it for the rest of your life.
