My red cell and hematocrit levels are low, about 2 to 5 points low. How would that effect shoulder surgery?

This was discovered as part of a physical to see if I could undergo shoulder surgery (arthroscopic rotator cuff repair). I had back surgery 4.5 months ago with no anemia problems then. I don’t know if my surgeon will schedule the surgery — one to 1.5 months in the future with this reading or what can be done to improve it quickly.
