A vasectomy is a method of permanent sterilization. This is done by removing a small segment of the vas deferens, which transports sperm and fluid from the testicles. There are no differences in results between a vasectomy and a no-scalpel vasectomy. The success rate, risks, possibility of infection, bleeding or post operative pain is the same. This procedure is done as an outpatient procedure in our office. You may call our office to receive a CD which further explains the procedure and covers frequently asked questions.
