My Geometry toolbar always has a Segment 2 icon even when I am in BOUND mode. How do I make an unbound line from two reference elements?

In order to make unbound lines instead of segments from two reference elements, go to the Input tab of the Configuration dialog and turn off “Line 2 always bounded”. The Line 2 command will then obey the BOUND/UNBOUND mode setting on the status bar.
