My expenses are higher than those defined in the standard budget that was used to determine my financial assistance eligibility. What are my options?
The student budget is designed to supplement your basic living expenses during the period for which you are enrolled. However, the budget does not account for most car-related expenses or credit card debt, per Federal regulations. Nor does the budget include expenses outside of the enrollment period; even those that might be school-related. The standard academic year enrollment period for 2008-2009 begins 9/29/2008 and ends 6/13/2009. The standard Summer, combined with the academic year, enrollment period begins 6/23/2008 and ends 6/13/2009. The standard academic year enrollment period for 2007-2008 begins 9/24/2007 and ends 6/14/2008. The standard Summer, combined with the academic year, enrollment period begins 6/18/2007 and ends 6/14/2008. Your individual enrollment period is used as the basis for your student budget.
