My Chapter devotes its resources to its college scholarship program. Why should we participate in AHEPAcademy?
The reality faced by many students obtaining a college education is the staggering costs associated with attending college. Most AHEPA scholarships, while a great honor for the student receiving them, hardly make a dent in this overall financial burden. Given the choice, today’s students would rather see $1000 put toward a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will follow them throughout their lives as young adults than toward a monetary award.
