JUST HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO PASS THE BAR EXAM IN AMERICA?
The answer to this question is multi-faceted, but I’ll narrow the answer to two parts. First, there is no bar examination in America that is truly difficult to pass for those who are properly prepared, and probably none which is easy to pass for those who are not. This is not to suggest, however, that PROPER PREPARATION is easy. Proper preparation, especially in those states with lower pass rates, places great demands upon the examinee. It requires a recognition of the incredible importance of success on this test, the devotion of many hundreds of hours and, most important, FOCUS as to what is important by way of preparation, and, what must be under emphasized or even totally ignored. Make no mistake– the bar exam preparation PROCESS, if properly approached, it’s HARD WORK. At least, it has always been so for me.
