Ive been using my Clicdesign module(s) for a while, but lately, I keep getting this error message: “Unknown Exception Thrown By Plug-In”. How do I fix this?
It seems that once in a while, Photoshop doesn t save preferences the way it should, therefore corrupting them. You can easily fix this by completely trashing the preference folders, but note that although this will resolve the issue at hand, it will also delete all preferences previously saved within a module. (For example, if you had been working in PlaidMaker and had saved a different default Plaid, make sure you save it in order to re-open and save as default Plaid again once problem is resolved.) This is how you can delete your preference folders: Windows Users: 1. Go to the Start Menu, Run, type: regedit, and click ok; 2. Go to My Computer, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Age Technologies, Inc., and delete the proper Clicdesign folder. Mac Users: Locate the HOME/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder and delete the file named after the Clicdesign module which is giving you problems. (As an example, the PlaidMaker preference file name should look like com.agetechnologies.Plaidmaker.000a9
