If you update to Windows 7 you are making a smart move. Windows 7 is a better, faster, and reliable Operating system than previous versions. I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 and honestly I am in love with it. Person like me who spends 5-8 hours a day on Internet would recommend Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox (both are free to download). IE 8 is a good program that is a part of Windows Operating system.
