Is there anything beyond the universe?
no one really knows for sure to give you a solid answer if there is anything beyond, modern science says that the universe is expanding (getting bigger by the day) so it would have to expand into something you would think. The universe is simply space and time, made up of dark matter, gases, and lots and lots of energy.
The Universe is the biggest thing ever, it’s so big, that everything else fits inside of it. It’s growing too! Beyond it, if that were possible, would probably be another Universe! Universes might be sphere shaped, or disc shaped, and might be arranged like a deck of cards, it’s very hard to know for sure since we are so small and primitive, at this point in time. If Universes are next to eachother, you might say it was possible to travel into another dimension! Perhaps one day, we can have the technology to measure the universe accurately or travel to the very edge of the universe, or even leave the universe! A time machine could be the key to inter-dimensional travel, the kind that could take you another universe. Some people say, that every single possible reality exists. For instance, you could live to 50 years old in one universe, die from a car accident, but in another universe you got lucky and survived, lived to 85 and died of natural causes; yet in another universe you weren’t
The definition of the Universe is everything, however, if you mean the known universe, we don’t know what is beyond it because that is beyond the limits of our detection. We can only guess. There may be more of the Universe, empty space, other universes, or something we could never dream of because it is beyond our experience.
