Is there an opportunity for parent involvement?
All parents are automatically a member of the Calmont Association of Parents (CAP). It exists on the principle that parent involvement is vital to the education of our children. CAP provides an opportunity for parents to enrich the education and development of our children through meaningful involvement in school life. There are multiple ways to participate. The work of CAP is accomplished through a variety of committees which are responsible for events such as the Back-to-School Picnic, Book Faire, Pizza Lunch, Grandparent/Special Friend Day, Bowling Night, the Auction and the Staff Luncheon. The time commitment for parent involvement can be as little as one hour serving Pizza Lunch to all year as a room parent.
