Is there a difference in format between the Lucidea Microarray ScoreCard and the Lucidea Universal ScoreCard?

The format for the Lucidea Microarray ScoreCard is different from the Lucidea Universal ScoreCard. The Lucidea Microarray ScoreCard is available in 384 well plates, while Lucidea Universal ScoreCard is available in individual tubes. As Microarray ScoreCard is formatted in a 384 well plate, it’s appeal is primarily to a Gen III spotter user. Customers with other pen configurations can still use the 384 well format but they cannot reformat the plate to direct where each control will be spotted nor ensure that each pen will spot each control. Each control in the Universal ScoreCard is supplied as lyophilized DNA in individual tubes. The Universal ScoreCard customer can resuspend the DNA in their specific buffer and then pipet the controls to individual wells within their spotting plates. Additionally, they have the ability to decide how many times each control will be spotted and whether each pen will spot each control.
