Is the implantable VeriChip the Mark of the Beast?
Doh, current setup won’t let me write Comments. Allow me to expand on my ‘No’. If someone is making a claim, the onus is on them to provide some kind of credible evidence to back it up. The more outrageous the claim, the more credible the evidence needs to be. Just saying “VeriChip is the sign of the beast, disprove it” is akin to me saying “I have a hidden gospel, known only to a few, where Jesus says ‘God is a unicorn’, disprove it.” You cannot disprove it, can you? Unfortunately, a rambling letter describing weird dreams written 1900 years ago by a man in solitary confinement on an isolated island is not considered “credible evidence”. He thought the “rapture” thingy would happen in his generation. Many writings later on think he was referring to the Roman Empire at the time. Even Jesus said “There are those here who will not taste death before this happens” when referring to his second coming. He said no-one could know the day or the hour, but he reckoned he at least knew which hal
