Is the block insurance premium included in the Service Charge or collected separately?
The block insurance is included in the annual Service Charge. The Block insurance is arranged on the basis that all residents are professional people and not students or DSS claimants. The company should be notified at once should tenants that fall into either of these categories in order that the insurance company may be notified. Should an increase in insurance premium be payable this will be charged to the owner at cost.
