Is OCTRI fully functional?
The OCTRI received its first funding on Oct 1, 2006 and there is still much to do to fully implement its many programs. Many critical resources are already available as we continue to build the institute. Our first priorities have been the Pilot Funding Program (which awarded six grants in January, and is currently reviewing second-round applications), the educational programs (which began recruiting students and rolling out new curricula), administrative services, and the Front Door (an information and research concierge service that has been triaging 50 to 75 inquiries per month). This website will continue to post updates about program services and their functionalities.
