Is netOctopus capable of installing software packages by running installer scripts across the network?

Yes, netOctopus can run Apple 3.x and 4.X installer scripts across the network. In version 4.2, netOctopus can support Installer VISE installers, .pkg and .mpkg files with the Execute Macintosh Installer command. This feature is only supported with the Mac Agents running versions 4.2 or above. In previous versions of netOctopus, you can execute third party installers via AppleScript.
