Is Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 considered a critical update?

0

It doesn’t belong in the list of “Critical Updates” anymore because a lot of organizations which use a custom-branded version of IE6 were complaining that the automatic updates were overwriting their versions. Hence it was removed. Believe it or not, all of the computers in my university library still use IE6 because it’s the only browser compatible with the library catalogue systems. Home users should update to IE8.

It’s not a “critical” update, but it’s still a recommended update. IE6 is a piece of crap.

Microsoft can scan your computer and give you all critical and option updates for your computer .

Go to Windows Update and click on Express. It will scan your computer and show all critical updates.
