Is it possible to learn Japanese on the internet?
You can get a familiarity with a language, but the best way to actually learn a language is by taking private lessons. The second best way is group classes, and then if those options are not possible, I would suggest using tapes, but you must use them consistently in order for them to be effective. I personally can not see how one can effectively learn a language on the Internet. Like I said, you can get a familiarity with a language, but actually learning the language requires more than that.
