Is it possible to correct political boundaries in Digital Atmosphere? Is there not a file (geo) similar to the *.plr file which I can edit to fix a border?
Not in the latest version of Digital Atmosphere; we had to convert all the data from text to binary data to conserve disk space. However you can add borders, of course, using custom geography (see the manual). We will NOT make changes for border dispute reasons (e.g. India/Pakistan, Argentina, etc). borders What is the map projection used for all Digital Atmosphere imagery? Digital Atmosphere uses the orthographic projection. projection Can I remap satellite imagery into the same projection used by Digital Atmosphere and use it as a background BMP? Only if you can remap the satellite imagery to the orthographic projection and manually scale it and set the aspect ratio as necessary.
