Unfortunately, with the latest OS versions from Apple the GPS chipset is turned off when the iPhone’s screen is locked by pressing the standard iPhone lock button. We have come with a new feature that rezolves this issue. While in the “Lock Screen”, that can be accessed by pressing the “lock screen icon”, you can safely place your iPhone in your pocket or in a bag, and the screen will lock automatically, to preserve battery. In this way, trip Journal will keep on tracking your route, even if the iPhone screen is locked.
