Is Farm School open if it snows?
Farm School follows the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) schedule. The preschool will be closed when the schools are closed for inclement weather. Make-up days will not be scheduled for days missed due to inclement weather. No refunds or credits are given for closings, holidays or illnesses. If the public schools open one hour late, AM classes will be held from 10:00 to 12:15. PM classes will be held from 1:00 to 3:15. If schools open two hours late, AM classes will be held from 10:45 – 12:45 (Please send a lunch in with our child on those days). PM classes will be held from 1:15 – 3:15. If FCPS announces they are releasing children early we will release children at the announced time. If only AM Kindergarten is held that day, we will not have PM preschool. If schools are closing early and the announcement is made prior to our afternoon opening time, afternoon classes will not be held.
