Is EastLinks WebMail secure?
EastLink uses SSL (Secured Socket Layer) mode to encrypt both access to WebMail and your WebMail session. However, when using WebMail on a public access computer, it is a good idea to clear the web browser’s cache after logging out of the service. This will ensure that copies of any attachments viewed during your WebMail session are not left on the public computer’s local disk. This can be done in Internet Explorer by selecting “Internet Options” from the “Tools” menu and then clicking the “Delete Files” button.
