Absolutely. Daimler-Chrysler is expected to begin a new car program in the very near future using CATIA V5, exclusively. Ford will be making the transition to CATIA V5 over the next two years. Toyota has abandoned its in-house CAD system, TOGO-CAD, and has switched to CATIA V5.
