BGSU does prevent P2P applications on the wireless network. Due to BGSU’s network configuration, to maintain legal use of P2P file sharing all transmissions need to be completed on the wired network. Any illegal use of P2P applications on the wired network will be logged and a preventative technical safeguard will be implemented according to previous history of misuse.
