Is an Internet Connection required to purchase Model Packs and load them into my Line 6 device?

Yes. Installation of Model Packs requires a secure connection to the Line 6 server. This process cannot be simulated without an Internet connection. However, an Internet connection is NOT required to simply update the firmware to Version 2.
