Is aerobics good?
Aerobics is an excellent idea. It’s great for the cardiovascular system and for burning those extra calories. With the proper training you will get more toned legs and arms and you will generally feel better. It won’t happen over night, but you’ll see progress. Good Luck and have fun with aerobics. Oh, also make sure you have a GOOD pair of shoes to absorb the impact if you are doing high impact aerobics. It will help your back too.
Aerobics are good because at least you are doing SOMETHING. Are aerobics the best thing out there for getting a lean and toned body? NOPE! Not by a long shot. Here’s a study by Dr. Izumi Tabata : http://cbass.com/SEARCHOF.HTM and here’s a google search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=c… I really dont know why but for some reason women seem to think that they need to spend long amounts of time doing moderate level intensity excercise. Most of them think that weight lifting will make them look like those female pro bodybuilders. Guess what those chicks are on steroids!! Woman dont have enough testosterone to get big like that naturally!!! If you go to www.t-nation.com they have a whole section made just for women. You also may wanna check out crossfit.com because they have some really great stuff too. Keep in mind th
It depends on how much effort you put into it. I’ve tried aerobics and some women there just seem to go at it half arsed and I think, what’s the point? Then they wonder why they still get out of breath when they climb the stairs and still carry a fair amount of fat. If you want toned legs you’ll be best to do the following: – push yourself hard during your aerobics class – clean up the diet. You can build up and work the muscles all you like but if there’s a layer of fat over them, they’ll still appear not quite as toned as you like. – consider doing a weight training workout and be sure to include, squats, deadlifts and lunges to target those legs. Remember, the most important thing is your health and you should exercise regularly to stay fit, not just to shape and tone your body for appearance. Hope this helps!
Want to achieve overall physical fitness? Make sure your fitness training routine covers the bases: aerobic fitness, muscular fitness, stretching and core stability. Whether you’re an exercise novice taking the first steps toward fitness or a committed fitness fanatic hoping to optimize your results, a well-rounded fitness training program is essential. Base your exercise goals on the four primary elements of fitness. 1. Aerobic fitness Aerobic exercise is the cornerstone of most fitness training programs. Aerobic exercise causes you to breathe faster and more deeply, which maximizes the amount of oxygen in your blood. The better your aerobic fitness, the more efficiently your heart, lungs and blood vessels transport oxygen throughout your body — and the easier it is to complete routine physical tasks and rise to unexpected challenges, such as running to your car in the pouring rain. So what counts? Any physical activity that uses large muscle groups and increases your heart rate. Try
