Is a Level 6a in geography good for year 8?

The average level a student is supposed to be at in Year 9 is a Level 5. Although I don’t understand why this even applies now that SATs have been scrapped. So yes, this is very good. Very few get Level 7s and even less get Level 8s, though it’s not unheard of. But be warned, in different years, the levels are different, so a Level 6 in year 8 is likely to be easier than one in year 9, but the point is that you progress anyway, so that shouldn’t matter.
