Yes. All persons taking the real estate exam shall submit proof of an FBI Identification Records Check as part of the application for license. The cost of the FBI Identification Records Check is $18. Your record must show that there have been no felony convictions at any time or any misdemeanors within the last five years. Persons with any felony conviction or certain misdemeanors should not enroll in classes or take the examination until the Kentucky Real Estate Commission has determined their eligibility for a license.
