Yes. You must, however, remove the original comment that “.SND files must be in the DPATH” and make sure the “:acviewport.” statement is the first statement in the Panel Editing window. Then save the file and reload it and the IPF Editor 2.0 will properly handle the VSM .SND files. Why doesn’t the target system’s volume change to match the volume settings I selected? Some older sound cards do not support volume adjustment. This is a limitation of the hardware and cannot be overcome without purchasing a sound card that does support software volume control.
