Impure Blood causes Pimples?

It s a myth that pimples are caused by impure blood. Pimples arise on the skin because of overactive sebaceous glands which produce sebum. During teenage, these glands, under the influence of testosterone that is present in both males & females, secrete sebum in large amounts which in turn react with bacteria present on the surface of skin to form fatty acids. The acids then dissolve the wall of the sebaceous glands and moves towards the inner layers of skin. This being recognised as a foreign body produces an inflammatory reaction which is known and seen as ~pimple~. Genes, too, have a major role in determining your tendency to have over active sebaceous glands which leads to acne. The best treatment for acne is to keep your skin clean and dry.
