If the father isn listed on the birth certificate does he have to pay back child support?

NO. Only from the recorded date that it was requested for child support. Even after the child is proven to be his, if they don’t file for child support he doesn’t have to pay. Sometimes the state will automatically take it from the father on the birth certificate if the mother is requesting some type of government care, including food stamps, section 8, any government supported income.

Only if he is the real father and you have papers from a blood test saying he is the father, if not your out of luck.

it all depends on the situation. if the father is unfit in any way, then there is about 90% cChance that he wont have to pay. My father isn’t on the birth cert. and he hasn’t paid one cent. I’m 24 now and as far as i know the law hasn’t changed.
