Yes. The district reserves twenty-five percent (25%) of the available seats in middle and high school programs for qualifying incoming students who attend the select school theme program at the lower level. If the feeder preference students who apply comprise more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the available seats, the district will randomly select students to fill the seats. The names of those students who are not selected will be placed in the general lottery. All students must submit an application to the Select School to which they are applying by the designated application deadline. The current feeder school alignment is as follows: Gilbert Elementary Magnet School for Communication and Creative Arts and Jo Mackey Academy of Leadership and Global Communication, Grades 1-5 to: K.O. Knudson Middle School Academy of Creative Arts, Language and Technology, Grades 6-8 to: Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts, Desert Pines Academy of Information Tech
